Tommy Gainey Becomes First 'Big Break' Alumnus to Record Victory on PGA TOUR

Gainey, 37 and nicknamed “Two Gloves” for wearing gloves on both hands, first gained notoriety with golf fans as a two-time participant on Golf Channel’s Big Break series - Big Break IV: USA vs. Europe – in 2005 and later winning Big Break VII: Reunion in 2006.
Gainey also became the first Big Break alumnus to earn full status on the PGA TOUR card in 2008 when he advanced through 2007 PGA TOUR Q-School.

This year’s Symetra Tour graduates are, in order of finish:

Grand Golf Resorts of Florida to Host Two Legends Tour Events
Across Central Florida – September 20, 2012 – The newly formed Grand Golf Resorts of Florida,
a Salamander Collection, will host two Legends Tour golf tournaments
this fall: The Handa Cup at Reunion Resort in Orlando from November 2-4,
and the Legends Tour Open Championship at Innisbrook Resort in Tampa
Bay from November 9-11.
